Machine Utilization

Uptime vs. Downtime

The Machine Utilization report shows the percentage of scheduled production hours during which each machine had an active run in progress. Downtime is the gap between run close and the next run start, periods when the machine was idle but scheduled.

Efficiency Metrics

• Average setup time between runs (time from run close to next run start)
• Average run duration vs. estimated duration (if machine speed is configured)
• Patterns per run: high pattern counts may indicate over-complex order mixes
• Waste events per run: runs with many events may indicate machine or quality issues
