Creating a Run

Creating a Run

From Patterns to a Run

A production run is created once you have selected a pattern set from the optimizer. The run record holds a snapshot of the patterns, the machine configuration at time of creation, and the list of orders it is intended to fulfil.

1

Select a pattern set

After optimization, click Use This Plan on the pattern set you want. This initiates run creation.
2

Review the run summary

Confirm the order list, pattern count, estimated total waste %, and production date.
3

Save the run

The run is saved with status PENDING and becomes visible to Operators in the floor execution queue.

Machine Assignment

Each run is assigned to exactly one machine. The machine configuration (deckle width, blade count, waste targets) is snapshotted at run creation time. If you later change the machine settings, existing runs are not affected.

Run Number & Date

Deckle Plus auto-assigns a sequential run number prefixed by date (e.g. 20260606-007). You can add a custom reference (e.g. a shift number or customer job code) as an optional label. The scheduled date defaults to today but can be changed for future scheduling.
