Closing & Dispatch

Run Sign-off

When all patterns have been executed and quantities confirmed, an Operator or Supervisor clicks Close Run. This moves the run to CLOSED status and triggers the challan generation flow. Closed runs cannot be reopened. If a correction is needed, create a new adjustment run referencing the original.

Generating Challans

On close, Deckle Plus automatically generates a delivery challan for each customer whose orders are included in the run. The challan contains:

• Customer name and delivery address
• Order reference number
• Line items: width, GSM, quantity delivered, and any shortfall flagged for back-order
• Vehicle number and driver name (entered at close time)
• Dispatch timestamp and run reference

PDF Export

Each challan is available as a print-ready PDF. Click Download PDF on any challan from the Dispatch History screen. Challans can also be emailed directly to customers from the platform.

Dispatch History

The Dispatch History screen shows all closed runs and their challans. You can filter by date, machine, or customer, and re-download any challan PDF. The history is permanent. Challans are never automatically deleted.
