FIFO Consumption

Why FIFO

Deckle Plus consumes older stock before newer stock (First-In, First-Out). Paper properties drift with storage time, so using the oldest reels first keeps quality predictable and stops stock ageing out.

How Runs Draw Stock

When a run consumes paper, Deckle Plus debits the matching parent-reel stock bucket (paper type + GSM + width) and allocates that consumption across the intake records in date order, oldest first. If you substituted a different reel width when creating the run, the draw is taken from that width's stock instead.

Consumption History

Each stock bucket's transaction history shows every production-consumption draw and, for each, which intake records it drew from — the full oldest-first trail from delivery to run.
