Finished-Goods Inventory
What Lands Here
When a run completes, its finished reels are added to finished-goods inventory (the Inventory screen). Stock is grouped by paper type, GSM, width and descriptor fingerprint, so two 900 mm reels with different BF values are separate lines. Planners and Admins see the Inventory screen; committing stock and adding manual stock are Admin actions.
Reserving Against Orders
Commit reserves a quantity of a stock line against a specific order width — useful when you can fill part of an order straight from stock. Committed stock is deducted from the "unallocated" figure and counts toward that order width's completion. The Start Production flow can commit stock inline while building a run.
Manual Stock
Add Stock records finished goods that didn't come from a Deckle Plus run — an opening balance at go-live, or reels produced before the platform was in use.
Product Reels
Where reel tracking is enabled, individual finished reels are recorded at pattern completion with their weight (and optionally an ID), and carry a status of In Stock, Dispatched or Written Off. Dispatching an order assigns product reels to it oldest-first.
The Reel Sheet
A customer's Reel Sheet (a button on the customer view) is a working dispatch document: for a chosen date it lists that customer's reels ready to dispatch and reels dispatched that day, with estimated and actual reel counts and room to note each reel's ID. It exports to PDF or CSV. The same view for all customers is the Dispatch Sheet tab in Reports.
